This genuine antique Victorian Citrine necklace is beautiful. Circa 1880

Set in Silver.


The necklace is adorned with a double strand of rich yellow Citrines which are all briolette cut and faceted all the way round.


Ancient cultures believed that placing a Citrine on the forehead of an elder would increase his psychic power.

The name Citrine is derived from the colour - the yellow of lemon.

Citrine is also known as Gold Topaz and is the birthstone for November.

The Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them.
